BR Lanka is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate Full Stack Developer (Trainee – Internship) to join our growing development team.
This internship is ideal for university students who are eager to gain real-world industry experience by working on live projects while developing practical skills in modern web technologies.
As a trainee, you will collaborate with experienced developers, designers, and project managers, gaining hands-on experience in both front-end and back-end development while learning industry standards and best coding practices.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications
Support front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks
Assist in back-end development using PHP, Node.js, or similar technologies
Work with databases such as MySQL
Collaborate with designers to implement UI/UX designs
Debug, test, and optimize application performance
Assist with deployments, updates, and basic server-side tasks
Requirements
Undergraduate in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Basic knowledge of front-end and back-end web development
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP or another back-end language
Basic understanding of databases such as MySQL
Strong willingness to learn new technologies and follow coding best practices
Good problem-solving and time management skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
A portfolio, GitHub profile, or academic projects will be considered an advantage
Candidates residing in or able to commute to Athurugiriya are preferred
